In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, Bogota Savings Bank does not knowingly solicit names or personal information from children.

Phishing Awareness Notice

Bogota Savings Bank occasionally sends e-mails soliciting our customers. These e-mails will not request any personal information. If you receive an e-mail appearing to be from Bogota Savings Bank asking for personal information, please disregard the e-mail and contact us immediately at 201-645-4147.

Maintaining this Policy

This policy will be reviewed based on changing business conditions or changes in our information sharing practices. Bogota Savings Bank reserves the right to change this policy at any time with proper notification to our customers in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

CIP Policy
Important Information and Procedures for Opening a New Account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that Identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you

When you open an account, we will ask for your:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Date of Birth

  • Taxpayer ID Number

  • Driver's License or other identifying documents

  • Other information that will allow us to identify you
