Bogota Savings presented a check for $2,000 to the Visiting Homemaker Home Health Aide Service of Bergen County.

Michele Ogden, Director of the CHEER program, Eleanor Frankel and Gail Ryan, Executive Director accepted the donation.

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

Bogota Savings Bank conducted a Pajama Program Drive during the bank's annual holiday party. Employees donated more than 85 pair of pajamas and numerous books for the children in Bergen County. Lisa Ekmekjian, Pajama Program Bergen County Coordinator accepts the donations from President Joseph Coccaro and Sr. Vice President Sandra Sievewright.

for the Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk on October 16th, 2011.

Employees, family and friends participated in the walk which took place at the New Overpeck Park in Ridgefield Park, NJ.

 

 

 

 


 

Family Promise of Bergen County

Bogota Savings Bank offered a financial education workshop for the families participating in the Family Promise Network. The workshop provided information on savings, establishing a budget and credit repair.

Family Promise of Bergen County provides transitional housing for the homeless as well as Case Managers work with the families to address the issues that contributed to their current situation.

In addition, community members assist in finding affordable housing, jobs, transportation, daycare and other necessities.


 

Bogota Savings Bank employees volunteered

their time for Children's Aid and Family Services

Bogota Savings Bank employees volunteered their time to do some yard work and plant some flowers at the Children's Aid and Family Services group home in Bogota.

The group home houses 6 teenage girls between the ages of 13 - 17 and a House Mother.

Habitat for Humanity - Build Day

Employees of Bogota Savings Bank participated in a Build Day with Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County. The home located in Waldwick is comprised of four individual units and is expected to be completed by September 2011. 

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

Bogota Savings Bank Organized Food Drive for Helping Hands Food Pantry in Teaneck

Bogota Savings Bank organized a food drive in May for Helping Hands Food Pantry in Teaneck. The Bank collected over 25 bags of non-perishable food items during the 3 week drive. The Director of Helping Hands, Janice Preschel gratefully accepted the donations from the bank's CRA Officer, Sandra Sievewright.

About Helping Hands Food Pantry

Founded in 2009 by Councilman Elie Y. Katz and senior pastor of Teaneck Assembly of God Church Daniel Meys, the Helping Hands Food Pantry is a volunteer-run organization offering free groceries for needy families and individuals. The pantry is open on Tuesday from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm and Thursday from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 7:00pm. Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative

Bogota Savings Bank donated an Automated External Defibrillator. Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative is a volunteer nonprofit organization providing free primary and preventive medical care to low-income working people in Bergen County without insurance or the means to pay for care.
